American Cockers

More of Jump'N Smile

About Us

Our kids grow up with two big dogs, a Golden Retriever and an Afghan Hound. But our younger son Patrick wanted a small dog only for him. As we were pretty familiar with American Cockers we suggested this breed to Patrick. A small Otto - Chippysize Rio Bravo, our first American Cocker, joined us. He was the first small breed dog in our home, so most of the time we kept him in our hands as a small baby.

The next one was Smiley - Charles Dickens Jump And Smile. She came to us in age of 9 weeks. We wanted only her in this litter and we are very thankfull Marie for trusting us and allowing her to join us. In age of 3 months she was already THE CHIEF of all our adult dogs. And she is still the boss in house. Her temperament is gorgeous. Marie wrote ones:"Naming dogs is fun, I think. Some you get right, others not but one of the best suited names any of my breeding have is the one of this lovely lady. Her name? Charles Dickens Jump And Smile , of course!". She is our darling. And she knows that.

Her name become to be the kennel name. Now she became to be our foundation bitch.

In May 2013 we got Sunny - Letjashaja Ptitsa Star Is Born. The beautiful Russian girl with MY-IDA-HO pedigree. She is the elegance and calmness in one. Nothing can bring her out of control. Built to move, this young bitch can cover ground and has great extension front and rear.

Bean came to us in January 2014 after she won Awart of Merit at the Flushing Show. In the age of 7 months she was Best of Winners at the National Cocker Show in Gray Summit. She is multi BIS winner.
Joanne thank you so much for give us this wonderfull girl.

All of them are our small babies and spend 24 hours with us. I'm not sure who enjoys more. We or the dogs.

We visit Nationals as well as Flushing Spaniel shows in USA to learn more about this wonderful breed. During those visits Damir attented judge cources for American Cocker Spaniels and met a lot of wonderfull people.
